Enjoy the Moment – and the Sun!

Sometimes, well most of the time, we become so focused and goal-oriented that we forget to enjoy the journey. This week focus on having fun along the way, and enjoying the moment! Congratulate yourself on not only your results, but be proud of showing up to your TFX workouts, sticking to your nutrition plan and making all the efforts to creating the best you and a healthier life. Here are some funny things to do, just to do them:

1.Turn everything upside down and see how many items can be place upside down before your friend/boss/co-worker notices
2.Walk up to a small child that resembles you, and tell them that you are them from the future
3.Go to a pet store and buy bird seed. Then ask how long it will take for the birds to grow

Next up- Get a fresh air fix!

9.Hula hooping
10.Go for a walk
11.Jog with your dog

Go out and enjoy the great weather! The benefits of exercise include weight loss, endorphin release, cardiovascular fitness, and a sense of accomplishment. Combine those with the sun and enjoy the great benefits of exercising outdoors!

Benefits of Exercising Outdoors

1.Balances hormone levels
2.Lowers blood cholesterol by converting it to vitamin D
3.Increase oxygen in your blood to improve circulation
4.Increase bone density
5.Decrease high blood pressure and risk of diabetes
6.Improves the quality of sleep
7.Enhance immune system by increasing white blood cell count
8.Feel better due to endorphin release and increased serotonin

(Be smart about soaking up the sun! Lather on some SPF, wear a hat, sunglasses and light, protective clothing if needed)

Not all exercise is created equal. The best exercise is exercise you do consistently, which is why at TFX we take accountability and community seriously! We want to see a big smile on your beautiful faces knowing that you’ve worked hard and worked smart to achieve your health and fitness goals. Commit to coming to every one of your TFX sessions this week, and working hard for every second. Kick fear in the face, breakout of mental limitations and reach new heights. Then get out and enjoy the sun!

Whether it’s an inch or a mile, it’s still a step forward! Have fun with it!
