Create the Habit: Recover and Rest

Are you giving your body enough rest to recover in between workouts? It’s one thing to get physical activity but it’s another thing to keep pushing to the point of over-training.


Recover and Rest from Working Out


When our bodies don’t recover well from workouts, it thinks that we’re always under stress and that’s not good especially if we’re trying to lose weight. This is the reason not all our workouts are intense all the time.


Just because you did not feel like you “worked it,” it doesn’t mean you didn’t do your body good. To quote one of my favorite strength and condition coaches, “I’d rather have you do thousands of easy workouts than have you do 5 really tough workouts which could get you injured and burn you out.”
